The Raging Storm

Moving from one thought to another,
I am but a seed in a storm.
Never Ending battle, I realize
As the Storm rages inside !

Corruption - A focused struggle against one's kin

Description :

In the following poem, I blatantly criticize how corruption affects the country by comparing it to that of a mother - child relation. While on one end we have selfless love from the mother who takes care of her children, corruption affects the child, who no longer protects the mother from hardship. Moreover, the child himself goes ahead in inflicting damage to his own mother through his activities. The mother makes an emotional cry to her brave and just children to protect her against those  corrupt and hopes that her silent sobs are soothed by action by her other brave and just sons.

In this poem, I speak about the distance increasing and affection reducing. That happens as both mother and child do not know what the other is doing because of the virtual gap created due to ignorance and lack of awareness.

Poem :

Sons and daughters! I hold you dear
You, my child, have made me fear.
I take care of you with pride aplomb
Watching and fussing you bomb and comb.
I work hard, day in and day out.
Watch, my friends! How independent and smart!
My child is the best - claims the mom,
My duty is fulfilled, i feel that come.

"Alas, my mom! I grow dark and grave"
Norm it is - Darkness pervades.
How stupid, yet how smart!
Darkness brought me money,
Money brought me luxury.
At last, we lost the light,
that creates, bestows thy might.

The child cried, the mom cried.
Why has life gone wrong ?
Mom knew not the child knew what
Child knew not the mom knew what
Distance increases, affection reduces.
I get ready, know not, to kill my mom.

Mugged and raped,She faced her fears.
Coward sons of infortune, you showed the rear.
Sons of providence, i call you here,
She cries alone with no one to hear.
What have you done to stop the deed?
All i hope is you will stop the bleed.

The Human Think Tank !

A few words :

In this following poem, I go about telling that the human brain is a innocent tool during its inception. As time goes on, the brain gathers knowledge ( both constructive and destructive) and causes the mind to sway across the realms of the imaginable spectrum.

The Poem :

Thinking at the speed of light,
The mind feels no height.
The way ahead may be ablaze,
Alas, but it does feel a haze.

"Why?" asked the innocent brain,
-I process more than I can chew.
Arithmetic, politics and emotion,
What you process is what I feed.

Human mind, you are complex,
By practice and not by birth.
Your capabilities leave some to think,
Your trivialities cause others to blink.

Neural networks and fuzzy logic,
Exactly a truth, yet also maybe a lie.
I learn, for that, I am grateful
I am disabled and yet so powerful.

A weight assigned, A weight reduced.
You are what you decide and create.
You make the story, the lawyer and the jury
Human, I convict, acquit and rebuke.

Human brain, I placate thee,
For you are the supreme in me.
Impression does matter, my lord,
For I follow your right, will and judgement

Dual Pull of the Mind

Ahoy Sailor !
Do you see the cannon being shot?
To run or to stay, the question in mind,
Answer this way, for you are in grind.

The mind is at war,
The war is ever-ending, yet never-ending.
While it is Yes sometimes,
It is naught other times.

There is no incumbent, there is no permanence.
Life is but temporal, one might say.
The philosopher and the devil fight,
Day in and day out, Victor thy rise.

Philosophers deem their principles right,
Mind rules over matter,
Matter, thou must be present,
To make this sane philosopher right.

What is right and what is wrong ?
The devil or the philosopher,
It all depends on You, my child.
The loving child of humanity.
